tbh I didn't know who you were and then I came back and saw you were an admin so to be completely honest I thought you were Despain :\

But yeah, you do bring up some good points here, though I'm not really an integral part of the community by any means so I don't really have a good grasp on what's been going on. I didn't know that Volrath left (which is a shame because he was awesome), but something's definitely not right that I can't really put my finger on.

But regardless of whatever downward spiral .org is going through the fact still stands that it's the best community out there for actual game making so whether or not that means it's worth sticking around for, well, I say yes, you say no.

I'm glad you decided to keep the S&P thread open though because I am ultra stoked for it

I do definitely get what you're saying though. A lot of interest in this place has gone away, and this place seems kind of lifeless right now. It just feels like this place is starting to lose steam, and I know it sounds bad, but it's true. Before Despain went beserk I felt this place really thrived and it felt active and alive. Now it's gotten just...eh.

I feel the amount of good quality posts have gone up, the big problem is that new good quality members seem to be a scarcity anymore. Even if we do get one or two new members once in a while, they don't seem to stick around for long. It feels like there's a barrier or something, and that we should at least know a bit more of what's going on...but that's just how I feel. :/

Diss, I honestly don't know how long you've been around, but the inevitable down fall of this community was predicted after .net failed. I must be honest in saying I don't feel you helped improve anything with your rather controversial posting habits, but I've seen both ends of the spectrum (where you've actually said something that wasn't an off-colored joke). I will admit that you along with a few others - some which left also - did add a bit of spice to the forum and that I will miss.
