I'm not really sure which one I like...if any...

I'm having problems with designing a world map. I'm not planning on having a traversable overworld (e.g., FFVI or SoM). I'd prefer something like Illusion of Gaia, but I can't draw, and my Photoshop skills are limited. I have three possible designs that I could go with, but I can't decide. Which do you like best?

(Keep in mind that these are very bare-bones conceptual designs made by someone who can't draw.)

The problem with this design is I absolutely can't do anything with it. Since I can't draw, I can't actually be the one to add terrain and evidence of civilization. What you see is basically all I can do. If I choose to go with this one, I'll probably enlist a friend to do it.

This is okay, but the cloud is awkward. It's a little too convenient to have a cloud shaped exactly like the island exactly above the island.

Regardless of which design I choose, I'll probably have a friend do it. If I go with the first one, it'd be a lot harder for him. However, if I go with this easier image, it looks a little too cartoony...and I just don't like it as much.

What I like most about the cloud-over-the-island designs (a la Zelda) is I can show parts of pictures of the in-game map designs. The first image would require pictures of towns and forests that don't resemble what the player actually sees when he's in that area.
