Hey all. I was on .Org for a short time, a few years ago. Been away for quite a while. I've just started to get back into the RPGM community - mainly the Mag and, to a lesser extent, the Pavilion (console RPGM sites).
Way back when, I programmed a system for the RMXP Scripting Academy. In all the .Org business that happened shortly after I started work on it, the Scripting Academy never really got going full steam, the system remained in pretty poor shape with no teachers, and with me having only invested about two weeks into designing/programming it. It was a crazy time; I have no idea what went on. I'm not one much for politics, so I left after that, and haven't been back until now. Guess the dust has settled.
One of the first things I did when I originally joined was a little RTP tileset mod on the Inner Body tileset:
I have a background in web programming (PHP & MySQL), which I do for a living, working for a public school district as a consultant (going on four years, now). I also have a little Photoshop experience, and my graphics work with RMXP is mainly in modifying the RTP. Not quite skilled enough to do original stuff as of yet (except for particle animations, but I haven't done any of those in quite some time).
I'm also interested in embedded electronics, ancient history (anything in the CE doesn't interest me much), education, technology, and a few other things here and there. Otherwise I'm a pretty quiet person who is mainly interested in reading & working.
If any admins are looking for someone to program custom systems or whatnot, let me know. Assuming there aren't any major coups, I'd expect the results to turn out a bit better than the Scripting Academy did.
