Icons in Battle Menu?

I'm using Ccoa's side-view battle system, I've managed to remove my Attack/Escape bar, but I need to add Escape to the commands list, but don't know how to exactly... I also want to put icons on the menu and use a ring menu on it. Could anyone help with this?
