Ice mapping help

OK, there's a few things you could do.
Number one: The walls are in the program for a reason. Use them. That ice spike is designed for decoration, not to block off entire areas.
Two: Reduce the size of the area. A 3x5 block should be more than enough for this. The rest should be darkened out, and wall pieces should be used as a border.
Three: Vary the ground. See the slightly darker autotile? Use it around the area, to make it more interesting.
Four: Depending on the design and purpose of the map, laying around icicles or flowers might or might not be a good idea. They help to break up monotony, though.
Five: This is strictly optional, but using an advanced message system such as the AMS or the UMS will help make your project more professional, and stop you from having to put http://img183.imageshack.us/img183/2778 ... eenor3.jpg[/img]

Hope this helps.">

Making the map smaller is a good solution to that map but if you want to make a bigger ice map then just use the different tiles on the set that are directly below the autotiles (ice formations and flowers) as well as different ground autotiles.

Same with all maps.
