I need you're help remembering a game...

I remember a point and click adventure game but...not remember a title. Maybe YOU can help me.

The bases of the story is you're a farmboy who lives with his parents. One day, your parents are swept up in a magical tornado, so you go on a journey with a purple shape-shifting creature to save them. Also, the villain was witch(I think) and her minion was a idiotic monster who does her bidding.

That's all I can remember at the moment, any help appreciated.
