I need Video Recording Software

I need a good video recording software for my PC to make some videos of my game. This is seriously not my forte. Can anyone point me in the right direction?

EDIT: I'm building my game in RMXP if that is, by any chance, important.

It is. Most games use DirectX or OpenGL and thus can be recorded by FRAPS.

For RM, I always use Camtasia.

I personally use My Screen Recorder Pro. Of the programs i have used, this one has the best quality. I haven't used Camtasie yet though.

if you run into any problems like video lag, Virtualdub is a really lightweight screen-recording software that a lot of people use. it's free, too, with no watermarks or anything.
