I need to know... is there a way to make VX have layers??

I really wanna know this I love using layers to bring out the best in a map VX has it's auto layering (which sucks I may add) and it is impossible for me to make anything look decent.... I am not skilled (or even non-lazy) enough to make a tileset that would better fit the task at making the map good (since ya know VX has high quality graphics) but why in the world is mapping so difficult and they seemed to have taken out quite a few scripts normally in the event editor  :dead:

so really... unless there is a way to do some awesome layering for maps or return to some awesome eventing I'd give rmvx a 1/5 rating but if I can then do those I'd give it 4/5 (just because it was difficult to find that out  :tongue2

Well if you think about it, VX has layers  as you can "build up" in a sense, but who knows.

TileA is the LOWER LAYER, TileB-E are the UPPER LAYERS. There are TWO LAYERS.

I Lol'd. VX has layers yes but their extremly inadequate when it comes to building better maps. Think Pokemon or Final Fantasy I-III when making maps in VX.

VX brought something XP had not. Simplicity. It makes me think about FF4, which is good in my case :smile:. The layers might be hard to understand at first but I think this kind of 'intelligent layer system' is cool. Also, two layers are fine for me, even if an infinite number of layers wouldn't hurt. :tongue:
