I need the community's HONEST opinion...

Hey guys, long time no post. Most of you have no idea who I am. I have played many oif the completed games here on the forum and I wanted to ask your opinion on something. I am frequently bored and was thinking of reviewing games and posting my reviews to youtube - making sort of a show out of it - this would be helpful in spreading your project. I could even air trailers of your game, and under the name of the show, there is more of a chance people would watch it, instead of it being on your personal account. Tell me what you think and if anyone is interested.

Such a review would include
-Mapping
-Story
-Character Development
-Systems (Battle, Menu, Etc.

It also may include a segment about my favorite demo that I have played that week.

The whole thing would be completely free to anyone who wanted to submit a game/demo, and if enough people started getting reviewed, it would actually mean something to have a "Reviewed by _________" splash screen or credit mention in your game, because then people would go on youtube and watch the review and would therefore become more interested in playing the game.

This is just an idea, and I'm accepting suggestions or comments. No flames please.

Why do you need us to tell you what to do, if you want to and if you feel youre up to the challenge, then go ahead. We had a whole section devoted to reviews at one point but got lost in translation somewhere, but it prettymuch died out because people stopped reviewing or didnt have to time anymore, So if you want to do it. Then go ahead, i dont think anyone is going to stop you. Personally i liked reading all the reviews until they got taken down, especially the funny ones. :tongue:

I can't see why not. As long as the videos are watchable and entertaining, then by all means, go for it.

I could only see this worth doing if you actually voice it over, as opposed to having just text. You know what I mean? Good, entertaining reviews in my opinion must have a person talking because otherwise it's basically just pictures and text, and that's no fun. But this idea sounds really cool! It would definitely be something that I would stay tuned in to, if I like it of course.
