I need some help with a tile I created.

Ok, so I wasn't happy at all with the grass tile I was using for my game. I wanted a more jungle feeling to the tile. So as I always do, I pulled out Photoshop. After about 15 minutes of experimenting, I got this:

Its...presentable, but not what I was exactly looking for. See, if you add that on to a game it doesn't look totally meshed "together".
Heres what it looks like in-game:

So, is there anything I can do to make it look better? Or am I doomed to using this? :P. I cant help but thinking about how EnterBrain did theirs..with the RTP.

You should know that there is no 'better' without giving any definition of what you want to improve... personally, I like it... You should change the palmtrees to have a darker appearance, though...

:P I did say what was better! I need it to have less of a grid like appearance like the poster above me said.

Any other suggestions?

Fiddle a litte, break up any large groups of colour, like the horizontal splodge that gives it the grid like effect, only way you can break it up really.

Personally I think its pretty good, considering its for the darker jungle, i'd have thought most of it would be covered with other objects ... you don't get many clearings in dark jungles.
