i need help with rpg maker xp playtest

i have a 16" laptop with vista premium and rpg maker xp works but the playtest doesnt it opens up and doesnt load and just freezes. can anyone help me please? :sad:

Do you have any custom scripts running in the project at all? It may be one of them is hanging up your game.

i tried making a new project to test it out and does the same thing

Are you running RMXP in admin mode? Try that if your not, could fix it.

one thing i noticed is if i am working on a jump drive it takes forever to compile and run, so if you are on a jump drive move it to your hard drive, if you are on hard drive i have no idea.
