I have vista and xp... But before you yell at me with, "this has been answered I million times!", hear my plea. I had it working for a long time. I mean I real long time, like a year. All of a sudden I try to run it and I get that error, the nTitles one. I have compatibility, admin, and the patch. It wont run... Please help me!

The folders that are 9 digit numbers should have some info in them. At least one of them should have a folder named Trial in it. (There should be at least 2 folders that have the 9 digit numbers as names.)

So all of the keys I mentioned are there? That means that, for some reason, your computer is not letting RMXP access the registry. You might want to contact a tech support program on this one, because everything looks like it is there. (Unless you have RMVX installed. If you have that installed, there should be at least 4 different folders with a 9 digit number as a title, and at least two of them should have everything I mentioned in them)

There should be at least one with no trial, and at least one with trial.

Why doen't you select the Protexis folder, and then go to File -> Export, and save it as Protexis2.reg. Then, open it in microsoft notepad, and copy over everything in the file to a post in this thread. (remember to put it in a code tag)

It looks like everything is there. I've got one final suggestion before sending you off to the martians at tech support. Try keeping that file you just made and copied here, and then try deleting the Protexis folder. (only do this if you still have a backup of your activation code, as this will deacivate a registerred program) Then, try running the program ans see if it prompts you to activate the program, instead of giving you an nTitles error. If it still gives you an nTitles error, then try the method I referenced at the beginning of the thread. If none of this works, use the info you just posted, and put it back into your registry. (the same way you did with my first post). If none of this works, all I can say is that apparently, for no real reason, your computer is blocking RMXP from the registry. That means you need to go to a windows tech support forum. (Enterbrain puts you through hoops only to tell you to turn off your firewall, so don't even try them)

I'm sorry if I wasn't much help. Is there any chance you are on XP, and just updgraded to SP3? Just a quick question, because I am unfamiliar with the issues programs are having with that.
