while I love the Xenogears battle system, I was thinking a legend of legaia battle system is more feasible.
here's how it works.
Attack >
it leads to an input menu, you can choose any of the four directions on the d-pad to make a combination of directions to do a combo. While legend of legaia had the different directions have different lengths, i feel that it would do fine without it, all i care about is the combos. it would need to be set up so you could input longer combos as you level up.
other than finding out how to say "level 30 extend combo length" and input strings of combos, I desire the battle system to mostly be the default battle system.
Side view for this system of course.
being able to say "up attack, left attack, combo, right attack" or "combo combo" using the same attack slots would be badass, it would be more like xenogears in that respect.
any help is greatly appreciated.
