I hate VISTA!!! HELP PLZ!!!

Ok this has to be something to do with vista...I saved a game and now that i'm trying to load the file it says unsupported file type...can someone help me out.

If you are accusing Vista for this, it most likely has something to do with your computer incompetence. Have you...change any file associations since you saved the game? Are you trying to load the game from rmxp or through the Windows Explorer?

Some scripts (ones that use PK) use a different file extension of the saving of files, which causes this error.

You might want to post a demo or something. But I am not familiar with vista, so I can't help you if it is a vista related problem.

um i can't post a demo or anything.....i have no access to the files, I try to load it as i normally would to load the game so I could work on the application and that what it say...no in fact any of the files related to that game does that...I was the first time I have used the program with Vista and it did that...I have used it on XP for a while and it has never done that so i'm sure it has to do something with Vista's retarded setup why it did that. And i didn't mess with the applications or anything and I can start a new Project and then as soon as I shave it and exit out of it it comes up with the same error...I might be able to get a demo but i don't have any program that i could use to compress the file or Zip it...and I wouldn't know what files to edit because Vista does everything differently so all the files are archived differently then they are in XP... and Frodo my computer is no way incompetent, I hand built it and it works great the only incompetence is Vista!

I don't think he was calling the computer incompetent... My fix would be the following. Don't support Vista, wait until a less restrictive OS comes out. Reformat and put on XP. ^_^

Yeah, I was actually implying that you were incompetent, dog, but its alright. Tell me, what directory are you saving the files to? I know for a fact that the error you are getting is not Vista's fault, since I myself use RMXP on Vista without any hitches.

i'm far from incompetent myself as well and I am saving it to where ever the system normally saves it too...I haven't messed with anything. It was working last night fine and now that I have restarted the computer it started saying that. And the directory is fine it saved to the right place and under there right file type and everything.


EDit: ok nvm i just uninstalled the program and reinstalled it...
