aw where are you going? the fire's mainly in northern california near sacramento. but there's one on the central coast.. but both are areas that not many tourists go to so if you're going to san francisco or san diego/los angeles area you should be fine.

san diego is where i'm from it's a lot of fun. if you can try to hit up the wild animal park or the zoo!
los angeles is pretty shitty.. well downtown hollywood is but it should be a nice first time experience, if you haven't been there before.
san francisco is my favorite city, there's soo much to do. if you do end up going, try to find ghirardelli square! you get free chocolate and their icecream sundaes are amazing.
