If I make a drawing of a street, horizontally, with houses in the other side of the it, and I want the street to looks really, poor, medieval and dirty, which tricks can I use to add more detail and variety? Because I have the dirt road, with some tire tracks from wagons and some little grass spread around it it then at the houses of the background I tend to make it look at bit repetitive because all the houses have the same color, same doors, lots of cracks to look really poor, and some random windows and pipes. Which details could I put in the sketch to make it have more variety, to make the street seem even poorer and dirtier, which tricks could I do, how can I make the house at the other side of the road not seem so monotonous, but still not make them too different or different colours because I want them to be very primitive and rushed(ly?) built? Thank you for you help, if you do.
