First you write the 1000+ lines for each window, then you write the 50000+ lines for the scene, then you have to configure the compiler to link to your project. Finally, you do the 15 hour compile. Voila! That's how you make a scene in RGSS.
I believe there was a script out there that let you call a common even from the menu.
Just make the help menu in the common event, insert the script, customize it a touch, and you're good.
EDIT: Here's the script.
Credit goes to Gorechild and Lockheart.
Baw. Please don't imitate a short lived account called RPGS. The "normal menu" can be acquired by creating a new project. Then copying the code you screwed up. Finally pasting over the code you screwed up in your project. If that is too confusing. Copy the Scripts.rxdata file (found in the Data directory of a project) from an unaltered project and pasting it over your project's Scripts.rxdata file.
You probably didn't install the script correctly. Did you replace the Scene_Menu script with the one by Gorechild and Lockheart?
Or, are you using a custom menu script?
(@rikuken, you're not supposed to put it above main.)
