How Would I Do This?

Alright, I'm at a bit of a crossroads here and not exactly sure if what I want to do is even possible in RMXP.

Here's what I want:

Basically, players go into a cave, go through the first small room into a second chamber. In this second chamber I want to have a cutscenes. Our two heroes hear some noises and are confused about what's going on, and all of a sudden a big ol' golem drops onto the cave floor, and opens a hole in the ground, sending our heroes down into the chasm, sending players to the first "dungeon".

What I need help doing is creating the hole in the ground. I assume I need some new tiles (preferably autotiles if I can get them), but even with those, I don't know how to event a giant crack into the ground. I also would like to know how to keep this crack in the floor after the cutscene so that any time a player comes back to that point afterwards, they can't just skip over it.

Any help I can get is appreciated.

I don't know about a tileset for it, but to make the hole just make an event, with nothing on it. Now, make another page to the event, with a condition of a certain switch being on (Have the event that makes the golem come down activate the switch when the hole is supposed to open) and make that event have the tileset for the hole as its graphic.

If you want to have a hole appear that you'd normally create using tilesets, you can always put a bunch of events on the map, and then change those events from no graphic to tileset graphics.
