How to make things happen automatically

I am currently trying to make a flashback, where I have my character go to bed and then it goes to it, but I can't find out how to make the speech and stuff happen automatically.

You have to set the event that your making to AUTORUN, which can be selected at the bottom left of the event screen.
Then do your event as you want it, then at the end just activate a switch.
Then make a new page in the event screen and make it so that the switch you just activated at the end of the event must be on, and leave the 2nd page blank.
That way the event only plays once.

Well, first the event that takes you to the flashback:

Then the first event that's supposed to happen (Note: There's bad script here):

Then the next event (page one):

Page two:

And then the things that happens after:

I'm off to eat dinner!
EDIT: And what's not working is that my character is transferred there, but the speech and stuff doesn't play.

That is because on the page

You have it set on autorun with an event doing nothing. remove the autorun, and it should work, I think...

Ah, I see. (You may want to consider naming your events, BTW-- when half of what I see is EV001, it's hard to be sure of what I'm looking at.)

Anyway, your problem here is very simple.

You don't have any page conditions on the second page.

Remember: At all times, the highest page number that has page conditions that are true is the one that runs. If page two has no page conditions, page one will never, ever run.

This implies: That you only use a second page when you need to. A page can have as much code as you want, so put everything onto one code page whenever you can.

Actually, it looks like it didn't fix it, so then I decided to change the plot, and it still doesn't work...
I think I'm just gonna get rid of the flashbacks until I am more experienced.
