How to make an CLASSIC ATB System ?! --------- Like kingdom Hearts ???

[RPGS]

I want to have a classic ATB battle system , like as  the Kingdom Hearts games....

You fight on the map , and you and enemies can attack whenever the self wants , Randomly (But you attack when pressing for example SPACE) and can making Combos and
Hit x4 and things like that !!!



Advanced , but I hope you know what I want...  :grin:


Is there any EASY way to  create an classical ATB ?  :tongue:

Just copy the ABS scripts into your game, read the F.A.Q and the script help to know how to set it up.

There are several scripts , nahchito , and (I think) eveyone of them has to be customized a VERY LONG way , scripting own is needed , so it isnt THAT easy as just copy-pasting into my game !!!!  ^^    ; q

Actually, it is that easy. You just need to make a couple of resources, and import some others included in the demo and you're done. I don't understand why you don't get this!
And, the parts of the script that need to be customised are simple logic! Just plain English! Configure a couple of controls etc. and you're done!

it IS that easy, I'm using Mr.Mo's ABS, NeoABS and a TBS..

I dont know anything about scripting,. I can just modify array numbers ( YOU can do that),
and still I use those battle system cos they are TOO EASY to customize.

There's no need to make your own graphics, you can use the ones of the RTP.

Pick one, and only one.  Read its instructions, and follow them.  Get one script working 100% with your game before you even think of adding another.

I was going to make you a DEMO for this, but im not for a couple of reasons:

1- is a copy-paste matter
2- you already HAVE available demos
