How to install RMXp on a USB

is it even possible

Well, i've tried and it doesn't work, because of the fact that the RTP is installed to the computer and not the flash drive. If you would've had the RTP on the computer you want to use, then it works. The actual program works off of the flash drive, but the RTP will not install to the flash drive. I've tried.

Although the program itself will work off of the flash drive, it will need to be registerred on every computer you open it on, if I rembmeber correctly. Oh, and the RTP can be installed on the flash drive if necessary.

The only problem with registering on every computer is that your serial can only be registered to two machines. Therefore the portability is very, very limited. Your better off *cough* getting it in a suspicious way, so long as you've paid for it's not so much a big deal if you do. Unless it's a moral thing, that is.

I've tried installing the RTP on the flashdrive and it doesn't work. You would have to find some really roundabout way to do it because, while it does put the files there, it screws up the call script for XP. I had some really odd problems with it. Maybe it was just me though...

Are you including the RGSS dll file? That may cause some issues with the scripts, never personally tried this though. Only really use the one machine.
