I don't understand the question or the problem you are having friend. Are you trying to say that you are using 'Change Item...' and its not showing up in your inventory afterwards?

yes....

theyre actually items i made, .png files, in the material database, guess im just missing a step somewhere, but cant figure out where.....

When you use "Change Items", you are selecting an item from the database 'Items' tab. You have to assign your icon graphic to one of the items in the database, or create a new item & assign the icon.
Also, if your 'operand' is "Variable 0001:atm", make sure that variable has a positive value. If it's 0, you'll be adding 0 items.
(check the variables setting with F9 in Playtest)

Cool....turns out I was making them way too complicated.....would add the items through a variables switch, not on the change item menu itself.....
