This is a tutorial to make houses and inside houses
Steps: To make a House
1-Start up RPG Maker XP
2-Create new project
3-Click Map Properties
4-Choose Map size and Tileset, ect
5-Create your House!
First we need to open up RPG maker when that is done, start a new project.
When that is done go down to MAP0001, and right click it.
Choices will pop up,
Map Properties... Space
New Map... Ins
Copy Ctrl+C
Paste Ctrl V
Delete... Del
Shift... Ctrl T
Chose Map Properties, a box like this will appear.

Now, click the Tileset and choose a Tileset, make sure it called "Name Town" it shouldn't have "Town In" as part of its name in this section.
In my case I used the Tileset "Post Town."
Now you will see a diffrent Tileset appeared above your game folder. To the right of it you'll see a scroll bar. Scroll down to the bottom where there will be house Tiles.
It should now look something like this.

Now choose your House Tile, but when making your house make it a intresting house not a plain one way house like this.

Try to do houses you don't see when your playing games that much, and add lots a details dont just put a window with plants below it make it a beatiful house! Try some creative houses. (Remember how to use layers.)
