I love them. I wish I could give some sort of constructive criticism to help with, but you've pretty much perfected the art of Kaizer-spriting so there's not much to say.
Although, I never understood this line of thinking, we create new templates and custom charsets to stray from the rtp, and now we're going back to an older one. I think it's a love for nostalgia that we as a human race have... (done mindless rambling now).

Oh man, 1400 bucks, did you get physical data recovery done on it?  That's painful.

Anyway damn your armor sprites look awesome, man.  They really have some substance to them.

Pretty much. But then again I never hated the designs behind the sprites of the RTP. I just never could stand why they were so small. It's a Japanese thing I think. But I always liked the Secret of Mana, Chrono trigger, Terranigma, Secret of Evermore etc. Sized sprites. So I modeled the temp after them.

Thanks. It didn't set me back any, but it IS 1400... I'm working on getting it back so I'm not worried.

No I wasn't paying for the hard drive, but the data recovery on 80 gigs worth of vital information.

***Update. I decided to throw in an older sprite that I did. just a generic guy in a jacket. You'll see a lot of older sprites popping up here and there so I can finish them.

I won't be able to work on them anymore this weekend because I have homework to do. But I'll start again next week.

***UPDATE

I updated the Red haired guy . All I have to do for him now is the last row and his hair. I didn't like the sprite at first but after tweaking it a bit it really grew on me .

His shoulders seem to sit a bit too far forward in the front-idle pose, like he is hunching his arms.

Other than the obvious praise do you have a place for all your finished sprites, such as the ones in your signature?  Or should I assume you only did one off poses for them all?  All the best spriters seem to make one view and get bored after that and move on! :P

My place is here and the HKCP , and you're free to assume whatever the hell ya want though.

Eh. No doubt its the curvature of the seams that's giving that illusion... fixed . Fixed the hair too cuz it was vibing me funny.

I did do an Alex, but its not finished yet

I like the hood on the cloaked figure, but the one on the hoodie doesn't look right. I dunno. Maybe lighten the highlight a bit.

*Finished all frames of the outfit for the red head guy. I still have to shade his hair, but the headless version is good to go.
*Finished the forward walk for the blue haired guy
*Added additional WIP's for kicks. The first two on the bottom two rows are actually Final Fantasy 6 remakes.

The mages or cloaked people have a bit too much point to their hood imo. They look like KKK memebers XD Maybe smooth it out some?
