Other than the obvious praise do you have a place for all your finished sprites, such as the ones in your signature?  Or should I assume you only did one off poses for them all?  All the best spriters seem to make one view and get bored after that and move on! :P

I was actually planning on doing rm2k3 HK characters myself, but they propably wouldn't have turned out as good as this.

Freaking beautiful. That whole first row on your wips should offer up a ton of options for people who aren't too lazy to edit (could make a whole army out of that really). I'm especially digging thee trench coat (second row, seventh sprite).
For the helmet ornament on the blue soldier, are you making the fluff long or short?

Yeah thats my goal. I figure every game needs soldiers. So I tried to make different kinds for different kingdoms. The red and white one is a total Templar rip though. And I'm gonna make the fluff as long as it is in the original.

Yes, though I doubt anyone can break down the blue knight much. Or the Templar, but you can always switch heads. For future reference all my work is for Ven's HKCP. I'm just too lazy to put the bar in my sig.

Eh I doubt I'll have the time to do it with spriting and school at the same time. Besides theres not much I can write a tutorial about that hasn't been covered on dozens of sites. Moreover, there is no one way to sprite. Your best bet is to read the tutorials provided for you, practice, and in turn adopt a method that works for you.


Anyways I got as far on the blue knight that I'm going to for now. I'll most likely be done with him by the end of today. But I have optional classes to go to today so it won't be uploaded till this evening.  I've also put up updates on the blue haired guy and the Templar-like knight.

Again, I love colors, so if you don't..I'm probably not your spriter.

These look very nice so far.  It's interesting to see the progress of the folds in the stepping frames.  Under Current WIPs, I especially like the 3rd and 4th armors.  The trenchcoat(?) has some interesting shading too.   :smile:

Hell, I like all of them. Especially the guy with the huge cape. That is just pure eye candy. The guy with the greatcoat, too.
However, and I hate to say this, I seem to find a bit of a problem. The sleeves on the first three on the second row seem far too puffy for the rest of their outfit. If that's intentional, more power to you, but that struck me looking at them.
