well you definately need more shades in your sprite, it lacks depth to it.
Your doing the DREADED PILLOW SHADING!!
Outlines need a lot of work, need to soften them up, particularly around the collar and helmet area.
Increase your contrast on the helmet since it's metal, metal has a high contrast between highlight and shade.

Yeah, Nazis wear swastika symbols on their arms. Maybe not every soldier, but it was common.

if this are nazis, make the red band on her left arm ( with the white spot and the hook-cross inside )..

Everyone else, the Nazi party wore the armband. The soldiers didn't. I guess the thread title was a bit misleading...

His helmet look' ridicolous in that holdin' gun position.
The templates are also weird, but they're not your', so I won't say anything.

In the gun pose, his arms are way too long.  They look like they'd drag his hands on the ground.  You might want to shorten them a bit
