I really have never learned anything in depth about anything Vietnam and beyond. I have learned about every other American fought war at least 5 times throughout my life and know the basic odds and ends. I got bored with Roman history personally, it was interesting but i dont know, it just wasn't my cup of tea. I was interested in history before Roman Times however and it was neat to get a basic idea of how civilization started. Also, the French Revolution was cool as well, mainly because the revolutionists were somewhat crazy and beheaded everybody and many reverted back to their old conservative ways.

My favourite historic period is the Roman Republic and the Ancient Greece, epic shit. I quite like Roman Empire too.
Never been impressed by Early and High Middle ages and all their religious fanatism.
I hate 20th century history, it's probably where humanity reached the lowest levels of idiocy.

Don't particularly care about other ages.

Really? I think the 20th century brought the most change we've ever seen. Of course there are the obvious two World Wars, but the sheer amount of invention (cars, television, radio, film, airplanes, nuclear weapons, computers, the internet, cures for many diseases, to name a few) the incredible advances in science and technology, how relations between and within countries changed (I love learning about communism and systems fo government) and the thousands of people that changed our world over the past century. Not to mention the explosion in human population. Some could say we're reached a low point in history, but really, the strides we've made are only the beginning of what's to come. *stares dreamily into space*

I always thought our jobs were to be blamed for it, they actually make us stupid in many ways and you can notice it whenever you're not at work. At the supermarket you may let some instrumental music or your empty stomach tell you what to buy (even if you don't need that product), you insanely want to escape from home and not know anything about family / household issues and finally you almost can't spend some quality time with your relatives or relax properly because you're still focus on your work or your main hobby that ends up stressing you as much as you get stressed at work!

Oh, I almost forgot to mention how many people nowadays can't just stop and think about what they're doing before they keep pressing on some individual that is a scripter or spriter or "engineer" so they can get a copy of a script / sprite / engine possibly at lightspeed or even faster / sooner.
