Hip-Hop

You all know I'm a huge hip-hop faggot, so I have to make this thread.
Because Hip-Hop is a cultural movement, which includes more than rapping we have to decrease it to the music (music discussion, derp). So you got the DJ-ing and MC-ing!
I guess I'll start off by posting some classic Hip-Hop songs. You can see 10 must-have hip-hop records in my sig, there is much more shit and I think anyone that's open-minded can find some hip-hop music he or she likes.
But that last part is just my opinion!
Anyway here are 10 classic songs each one from a Hip-Hop album in my sig:

Enjoy.
As you can see, everything there is from the early 90's except EPMD, I think the 90's was the best time for hip-hop music...
If you disagree fuck you that's cool, let's talk about it, let's exchange songs and shit, let's discuss shit!

As with anything there's some good and some shit.

Is DJ-ing a part of hip hop though? I don't generally associate the two; for one thing hip hop mainly seems to have very basic background beats that are mostly prerecorded. I could be wrong!

from wiki b/c I am lazy
There are several types of disc jockeys. Radio DJs introduce and play music that is broadcast on AM, FM, shortwave, digital, or internet radio stations. Club DJs select and play music in bars, nightclubs, discothèques, at raves, or even in a stadium. Hip hop disc jockeys select and play music using multiple turntables, often to back up one or more MCs, and they may also do turntable scratching to create percussive sounds. In reggae, the disc jockey (deejay) is a vocalist who raps, "toasts", or chats over pre-recorded rhythm tracks while the individual choosing and playing them is referred to as a selector.[1] Mobile DJs travel with portable sound systems and play recorded music at a variety of events.

My favorite right now is RJD2. Which I guess is poserish!!! :(
but imo he's talented as fuck.

I like a lot of cudi and ratatat but I've never been into rap about shit like club scenes or superficial stuff and too many of their songs fall into that (esp their songs that feature guests). i like rap but the lyrics need to be ... deeper, I guess.

k-os is great ... im just having a hard time finding other artists with his style of trip hop/reggae/acid jazz. any recommendations?
