Would you call Bush Junior's lack of experience 'refreshing'? I'd call it repugnant. We've seen what the average idealistic joe off the street would do in office-- joe everyman who doesnt ask for directions. I for one no longer see the refreshment in nominating someone who's not qualified as if their lack of qualification somehow makes them more qualified. If a president of a company wants a fresh take, he doesnt resign, he hires a new consultant. So long as the president who takes office surrounds him/herself with a series of different insights I dont see how having experience in similiar offices could be seen as a liability other than for extremist who view power as all corrupting or something.

Yes. Not just because he'd be the first black president, but because I honestly think he'd be the kind of leader the nation needs. I've seen several interviews, and his candidness is highly refreshing, as are his viewpoints on several issues. So I'd rather see him for President than HC.

I'm so split politically- I hate abortion but I also hate death penalty. Parents are Republicans but I'm split on my views. The one thing I know for sure is that Hillary is very "Anti-Gaming" and has supported Jack Thompson more than once. I would hate to see her become our president. The rare position that is truly "pro-life" and not just selectively so. I respect that, though I am pro-choice myself in matters of abortion. And dude, don't worry about the video game thing. I'm telling you, it's all image. They talk the talk up there in Washington, but they don't walk the walk. Not that I'm really trying to defend Hillary or anything, as I've said I'm not a huge fan of her. But I doubt she would do a bad job if elected, per se.

This is a matter of opinion, regardless of the fact that's the legal limit for abortions (in America).

By the way, while abortion is one of those issues that will factor in a presidential race, we're not in the Abortion Thread, so please don't try to veer off into a discussion about it.
