Wow, them screenshots look awesome. As does that reputation thing.
Just how can you earn reputation? Is it part of the plot, or a side quest? Or both as you seem to have mentioned?

Sorry its been forever since i've updated anything on here.  I unfortunately seldom have a chance to work on it anymore.  But its not forgotten or dropped.  Heres some screenies of the map I made today.  Hope you like 'em.

South shade is a mining town carved into the heavy forest at the edge of the ocean.

South Shade blends into the forest with nothing but a small fence surrounding it.

The town survives by trading its mined ores for whatever else it needs.

and yes, i'm aware of a few problems, most notably the shadows on the trees not being semi-transparent.  several things on my checklist to fix still.

for the record, the reputation will change with quests preformed, failed or missed.  also for with responses to questions, etc.  and thx for the encouragement.
