help with town advice.

Hello, I am trying to work on a game, I have all the scripts needed, it is something I am just doing to learn how to work rmxp, and I am no good at making towns, or overworld landscape, I would like some pointers on the matter, like what a good town needs, or how do you know the shades to make for over world. ect.

Maybe you could download some game or games that are maked in rmxp and see how towns are built.That is the way I will go.

there are tons of tutorials on making maps around here in the forums,
also, try other sites like Creation Asylum, check their tutorial section and
you'll be happy.
