Making maps is easy.
Applying basic scripting is easy.
Pretty much, I am able to design my game the way I want it and implement the story that I want.
My BIGGEST issue, is balancing the game and having a nice steady flow throughout the game.
I am able to make the first area quite easy... easy low level monsters and some basic equipment. But for later on, how do I make it so that the monsters arent too hard or too easy without having to play through the game several hundred times!? In the beginning, I would just test the game and play for 15 minutes or so to make sure that the flow was steady... but as I got farther and farther into the game, it became harder and harder to balance.
Some tips/tricks would be appreciated. Thanks!
