Help With Monster Progression Balance

Making maps is easy.
Applying basic scripting is easy.
Pretty much, I am able to design my game the way I want it and implement the story that I want.

My BIGGEST issue, is balancing the game and having a nice steady flow throughout the game.
I am able to make the first area quite easy... easy low level monsters and some basic equipment. But for later on, how do I make it so that the monsters arent too hard or too easy without having to play through the game several hundred times!? In the beginning, I would just test the game and play for 15 minutes or so to make sure that the flow was steady... but as I got farther and farther into the game, it became harder and harder to balance.

Some tips/tricks would be appreciated. Thanks!

There is a few ways

Plan A: Best Choice
1:Play the game and Save often.
(If you make a Save Point type game than make a Item that opens Save Menu if you dont want to edit too much.)
2:If you die too easy lower the monster stats
(Ususlly this should only take you 1 play unless you keep changing the Beginning.)

You can control the monsters' HP with Variables too depend on Players Level
(Not going to explain it it can take a lot to explain try learning it yourself I did.)

Plan B:
Estamate your levels when you reach a certain area and use Troop Tab Battle(Practice Battle).

While testing the game, I can continue to create in my world as I am playing it? Meaning... I can make a map, play on it, save, make a new map, Continue Game, play, save, make another map, etc. etc.?

Not While Playing just save edit and replay where you left off.

That's what I was talking about before though. Trying to replay the game from the beginning to where I am currently is a pain in the ass. I have to level that character up again just to get to the next part. There has to be an easier way.

No, when you save and edit you can continue where you left off the spot where you SAVED.

Let me play around with this for a little bit. I'll get back to this post when I'm done.

EDIT: Well... I don't know why this didnt work before. I could have SWORN that I tried doing that before. Perhaps I was toying with the wrong file. Thank you Sakura.
