Help with game intro

Okay, i am having trouble getting my games intro going.

I want a book to appear with a black background. The book must look old and worn and have a leather cover that (in golden letters and old English style) say A Hero's Tale. The book should open and then some text will appear. I want it to fade in by word and letter so it reveals itself as the reader reads it. A second page and then a third page, and then the game starts....

I have no CLUE on how i would go about this and i am open to any suggestions, ideas, and help.

Well, I suppose the easiest way to go about this would be to make two images (book cover and open book), and display them on an empty map.

As for text, there are a number of ways to go about it. I suggest you search for a message system like Ccoa's UMS, or Slipknot's or Dubuleaux's Message Systems.
