Help please?

i have this scrpit  SandGolem's Out of SP Death script: I want to now how to set up a skill that would hurt the charcter with sp damage or lets say the user uses a skill that costs 80 but he only has 70. If he uses that skill he would die. Like in star ocean. Can some one help me please???

That makes little sense.
If he only has 70mp he couldn't use the skill, how would dying make it any different?

i think he wants it so that the character can use the skill regardless of the mp they have but they die to compensate the lack of mp when they don't have enough

Not unless there was a way to balance the fact. Maybe.. have the person stay dead for the minutes equal to the amount of mana over used. So if they used 20,000mp, and they only had 1, they stay dead for 19,999 minutes.

That's a long time to leave a game paused. (About 14 days)

Srsly. Even if it's 30 minutes that's a bit of time to wait just for that one character. It would at least try to prevent people from casting spells all willy nilly.

or if the amount of mp you can compensate cannot exceed, say, half of your current hp
