Help please..?

Ummm..Okay I started noticing a slight problem with anything I edit or use from somewhere else as a Character set. When I Import the Character Set and use it on a character to test it real quick the color in the background of the character shows. So the character is now in a colored background box oh joy.
I was wondering if anyone ran into the same problem and if so how do I fix it?

well the answer is that when you import the set you need to set the transparent colour to the colour of the background
