Help pick a design please

It's probably from having sat at this char for way to long, but I can't decide her final looks! Its for a spellcaster girl companion character.

I can't decide on the hair or clothes color anymore or the hairstyle, complete artistic block..:(

So if anyone could give their opinion wich design I should use to flesh out or has suggestion critique I'd be glad to hear it :)

It's completely my own design btw.

I'm making everything 100% original mself, hope to have some more stuff ready for a little show-off soon.

Prolly gonna go for the blue dress/green hair combo..I dunno, bleu hair is something I see with older videogame women.

Well, buisy drawing again :)

The final designs look really nice! I especially like the trailing fabric of #3, though I think that would be better suited to the gold bracelets to give it a real pop!

Well, been away most of last week, but here she is :)

Might be nice for other starting spriters to see the evolution of this sprite so I let the other images stay up as well.

Some notes and explainations on the design: I chose red bracelets to give her something extra to make her more noticable and for a bit of contrast. I let go of the trailing fabric because it made her a bit to standard and destracted to much ( and cause I'm lazy :P ) I chose to keep her somewhat simple as far as shading goes to let her blend in better with chipsets and to give her a bit more of a handdrawn look. I know and agree that more black shadows and lines can give a sprite more of a presence, I opted to not use any real black to give the sprite a lighter feel. If I in the future feel like the sprite is faded or bland I might still add some black.

It isnt perfect, there are some animations that can use perfecting, but it is quite nice the way it is right now :) However, sprites in dresses give me nightmares now :P

Tile chipsets comming soon :) They should go a lot faster then chara chipsets.

On a sidenote since I just thought about it: do these character templates have to be 128-192 (or 32-48 pix per char)pixels total or can they be bigger for rpgxp to still recognize and divide em? (nevermind, found out myself :) )

Nother edit. I feel like a bit of a noob now. This character looks to petite when put upon a 32-32 pixel tileset. Inflating her by 30% in photoshop did give her about the right size and altho it didnt look half bad, the sprite did lose some of it's crystal clearness, so I guess I am going to manually resize and touch it up. Oh well, more pixels per animation to work with :)

Yay! finally got around to fixing my character :) The size should be about right now ( almost 2 32*32 normal tiles high ) Fixed a few animation and shading flaws and imperfections. Made this char completely from scratch without any templates or clear examples so it took a while to get right. Learned quite a bit while spriting and future stuff should go a lot easier :)
