Help Me Please. nTitles error

Well here's the problem, I have got the trial version of Rpg Maker Xp and when ever I load it up it comes up with a error message saying: "Failed to obtain a trial serial number from the nTitles server". Does anyone know what to do? Please help me!!! :pissed:
Also what is better, Xp or Vx?

This is in the FAQ if I remember right...Did you look there?? Usually that means, either you don't have an internet connection, or your computer is blocking the program. Make sure to run as administrator when you attempt to use it.

Also, this question is based on personal choice. I personally like XP better because I'm more familiar with it and I prefer it's graphics over VX. There is a discussion about this somewhere on another forum...us the search button to find it...

Make sure your connected to the internet when you first run RMXP or RMVX. Also if your running Vista watch video >> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DHUB6FCAqCA

I also prefer rmxp over rmvx. But I also prefer some of the music and what not from Vx. So since I have had Xp for a couple years I just downloaded the trial version of Vx and copied the music, sound fx, images, animations, etc and added them to xp. A sort of happy medium. I avoided the mapsets and sprites since I think they look too pukey cutesy. I have more dramatic themes and cutesy chibi-ish sprites and settings just dont cut it for me. :barf:

Well that must explain it, I'm not conected to the internet on my laptop. I kinda transfered the program from my brothers computer (Windows XP) to my laptop (Windows Vista). So Vista and not being connected to the internet is the problem. (I know how to run it with Vista, just not connected to the net) Big Thanks to everyone for helping me. Bye Bye.
