Help me decide and critique my character sets...

I am planning to discard this one because it's hard to continue it:

and so I just want to  make a Tactical battle using my character sprites:

so how is it?

which is better?

Please critique and comment :)

thank yow!

Hmm, I like your graphical style, and since a TBS would help get the game finished sooner, I'd go with the TBS... Also, I prefer TBS's though, so that might just be me.

Thank you Mod Grateo :)

Yes you have a point there... I will focus on my lil sprites :)

I don't want to spent too much making the battlers.

so you're a fan of TBS? I remember my brother  who used to play the super robots/Gundam thingy, he's really hooked on that...

-----okay way to Go! I need to finish my game :) yay!

I like the tbs style as well. But what program did you use to create those sprites &/or battlers?

I use graphic gale & sometime ms pain too, photoshop (7) for editing my title and stuff. Good work, by the way!

Actually, I used CHara Idraw for RM2K, there is this "set up unit grid" system that makes the position fit and not moving when you use the battlers/sprites.
But the problem with that software is it can't read a picture (only 256 colors) so I go back and fort with photoshop(i dont know how to use grids)...

Thank uuuuu for the compliment

Oh mah GAWD the chibi sprites are so ADORABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Use them, not only are they seemingly much easier to do, they're frigging adorable and fit in better with an RPG.
