Help making my first game?

I am trying to make my first game, which I want to make similar to a super smash bros/prince of persia game.  I want 10 characters, a major boss, minor enemies.  I want the character to be in a castle, and there are 5 doors.  Each door has a key inside the room, but the door is a portal to a land where you must fight a boss to get the key.  I really want to make this, and yes I know this will be very hard, but I will be willing to spend months/years working on this.  My only request from anyone who takes the time to read this is that you help me find which tutorials I will need to use.  Thank you.

Oh I am sorry, but can you I'm confused on every bit of it.  How do I make a game file?

Do you have the RPG Maker installed? If you do, which version?
