Help in choosing charcter design

sorry if these images may give you nightmares lol, there pretty rubbish, i did them quickly on ms paint as just wanted to draw a rough design to ask which ones are best.

the first one is a competitive, arrogant style character who is strong minded. I was wondering if it looks better as a chinese person or black person, I wasn't really sure, but I want her coloured anyways just to add variety to my characters and I kind of have a story line to go.

The secnd one is a young, cheerful optimistic style charcter, think selphie/rikku from the final fantasy series. I was wondering which hairstyle would look better (its plaits on the ponytail by the way) . The front parts of the topleft and bottom left is a ponytail thing seperated with lots of bobbles (i don't know what this hairstyle is called) although I'm also considering plaits.

Thanks for reading, I know I'm kind of going on a bit so..you opinions, I'm open to other design suggestions

Whoa, I dont really know what to make of these, the faces are very un face like. Maybe you should use a skeletal model or use some gidelines to get facial tructure down.

im not really gonna be using them for the game lol (no way!), as I said they were quick drawings. I just roughly drew the designs that I'm wanting help to decide which design with.

Make the first one black- there's a lack of black characters. Plus the face looks better with the darker tone.

The second one, go for one of the two styles on the left. You might also want to consider cornrows.

yeh thats what I thought so thats why I considered it in the first place.
Cornwors sounds interesting, maybe, but it'll be hard when to model for the movie scenes.

I'd also go with the black character, and the other one I like the bottom left best
