I'm using rpgmaker xp just got it the other day! and i'm noob!
I've been searching for a different battle system and that brings me here!
I've been reading for hours here and when I decided to choose mr. mo's ABS.
I really don't know how to start how am I suppose to do that? what I meant is!
Do I have to DL? O_O what? how? HELP!

Well, it helps to read the instructions posted on that particular script's topic. I don't use Mr. Mo's ABS, but you should read the instructions and double click the Script spoiler, then copy it all (it should select the whole script and not the entire forum if you did it correctly.)

You got it copied? Open the script editor with F11 and Insert a new section, name it and paste the script in that new section.

Better yet, if it has a demo, I'd just download the damn thing, study it and read the instructions!

Although the advice was good, I must say, it is meant for someone with a little more experience with the program. My first suggestions is that, instead of jumping in the deep end, you learn to swim in the shallow end. (metaphorically). I would recommend that for a while, you should just mess around, and learn to use the program. First and foremost, learn how to use the event system, and how to make reasonable characters and enemies. (although that last one even troubles professionals) Then, if you still feel comfortable, try learning how to script. I'm not saying to jump into Mr. Mo's ABS, I'm saying to start with some simple, short scripts, and work your way up. And the best way to learn is to make something, and if you think something to the effect of "I wonder if I could do this...", then try to do it, and see what you come up with.
