Help a brother in need.

Please I need some help here, I've been working on a game on RMXP for a week now over at my mom's, now today I went to my dad. And I uploaded the whole project file that was in "my documents". And downloaded them over here (at my dad's). But when I trry to play the game I get a popup that says "Failed to create process." and I don't know what the problem is, please help me!  :blush: :pissed: :thumb:

Sounds like you don't have the RTP installed on your dad's computer, assuming that you used the default graphics and sound with your game. 

You'll need to either download the RTP for that computer, or install whatever graphics or sound you're using for your game in the actual game folders before you compress it.

Well I already have RTP installed actually, I'm not really sure if I installed them in the right folder. Can you tell me what folder it's gonna be in? Please

Unless you changed the default path at your mom/dads house there shouldn't be a problem. You could try going into the Editor selecting the  Game tab then going down to Select RTP. If you have it installed it should appear in that drop down list, if not just try reinstalling.

Have you tried creating a new project to see if the error occurs there as well? It may be a fault with your project thats happened when moving it from A to B.

Nope when I try to make a new project I get another error that says "Failed to copy folder".

It sounds like you're just gonna have to go through the files and troubleshoot, dude.  1)Go to My Computer, C:/, Programs, Common Files, Enterbrain, RGSS, Standard.  2) There should be an Audio folder, a Graphics folder, a Game icon, and a Graphics icon.  3) Just do a quick check to make sure everything's there - BGM, BGS, ME, SE in Audio; Animations, Autotiles, Battlebacks, Battlers, Characters, Fogs, Gameovers, Icons, Panoramas, Tilesets, Titles, Transitions, and Windowskins in the Graphics folder.  4) Your actual game folders ought to be in My Docs, under RPGXP (that's where mine are, anyway.)  And in that folder,you should have the folders for each project.

Your computer is literally failing to copy the folder from the RTP into the RPGXP folder in your "My Documents".
Check that you have full permissions, are you an admin on your computer? Check your My Documents permissions, right click on My Documents and maked sure read only is unticked and check the same for the RPGXP folder.
