Hello,
I have been snooping around this site for a while now. I enjoy the forums and find them very informative.
I am currently making my first game with rpg maker xp.
I have been working on it for nearly a year.
This is my first attempt at making a game.
It started as novel I was writing. The more I wrote, the more I thought it would make a better game then novel.
I have been playing rpg games since the first Zelda and Final Fantasy games came out on the original Nintendo system. (Remember the one that you had to put the cartridge in just right or it wouldn't play? LOL)
I have had my ups and downs trying to make this game. I have most of the mapping complete. The story line was complete before I started it. I have a lot of quests already put into the game. I have my characters made. I am just working hard to finish it.
I have had a lot of help from different forums and chats that I have been in.

Oh man I remember those cartridges. It was annoying to have to play around with them, but it felt sooo good when you got it working. XD "First objective complete: get the game to start."
