:D It's not racist, it's more making a little statement on racism.
A while back in a morning school assembly, there were a couple of black people standing waiting to give a talk, (every winter term the school does this whole fundraising thing for a sister-school in Africa. It seems to make people feel better about the fact that there are about 3 black boys in our whole school of several hundred). Being the devilish wit I am, I quietly said to the person next to me:
"Look! Black people,"
That was a mistake. Five people around me instantly turned around starting berating me for being racist. But I wasn't being racist. "Look! Black people," is not a viable comment for the crazyest, loudest raving BNP lunatic. There is just no one that could say it in an innocent tone of voice an be serious. My conclusion is that either 1. The people around me were completely retarded (they weren't) or 2. They were actually quietly racist themselves and were simply shocked by vocalisations of their own racist sentiment. I mean, come on. It was ridiculous.
Other right on comments of mine include Friend:"Do you want white or dark chocolate?" Me:"White. Black things are bad," and the renaming of my friends with such delightful monikas as Pickininny Peter and Chung Chung the Ching Chong Chinaman Opium Fiend Of The East.
