HBGame Jam -Ended-

So change in the way we're doing stuff!

We'll be using the IRC to talk and stuff, and the hangout will be for screen sharing purposes.

One thing I forgot to take into account is that G+ uses your account and therefore uses your real name (if you set your real name) and therefore some people might not be that comfortable using it.
So those who want to screen share, join if you are comfortable, those who just want to chat about their game and talk about the jam and stuff, join the IRC.

I'll be posting my game within the next two days - It's sunday night and school goes back tomorrow. I did manage to get it finished, but I plan to open a project thread and continue adding to it to expand on the gameplay.

A huge thank you to everyone who partisipated, even if you just showed up and watched for a bit!
I think this was more "Boost productivity withing these 48 hours" rather than a jam, but I hope to get more events like this and indeed actual jam like events going somewhat regularly here.

It was great to see some members from the forums show up and produce some really great things, and was nice to see members of the IRC pop in too!

My own game didn't get finished, but that doesn't mean it stops there. I've got only a few maps to finish, and I really enjoy doing this boss fight, so expect to see that fairly soon!
I'll make a project thread for it when I'm less tired!

I hope those of you who joined us had fun, and those who didn't, I hope you come along next time.

Now with all that said, this was fairly short notice. That was a massive fault on my part, but I think it's got the ball rolling. Now lets see if we can keep momentum with this!

So do you think we should do more events like this?

If so how would you like this organized from now on? On random weekends/holidays? Planned weeks in ahead?

The next one we do most likely will not be 48 hours, because that's too strenuous for one weekend.

Anyway. Thanks for reading and whatnot. Please feel free to suggest things, and hopefully I'll get to see this become a regular community event!

I really enjoyed it, but school is picking up before mid-term exams, so I may not be able to participate if another one is too near.
