Having trouble with self-switches...

At first, I thought it was an isolated oddity, but it's started happening more and more to me:
I'm having problems where if I activate a self-switch in an event, say, self-switch A, then another, completely unrelated event in another map will also have that self-switch activated. I've noticed that it happens when the two events have the same ID number. What can I do to avoid this? It's grown to be quite a pain in the ass.

In the project that's giving me the problems, I have SDK 2.2, MACL 2.0, and an animated battlers script that's probably inconsequential. I'm trying to replicate the problem but I'm having a hell of a time creating it intentionally. The way it started was that I had treasure chest events that were marked as opened by their A self-switch. I copy-pasted the event into other maps and lo and behold, opening one caused them all to be recognized as open. I thought it might have been an isolated incident and ignored it, but it's started cropping up in other events.

So I have no idea about what you've done exactly in your Project. But I had a thought. It might be a Common Event problem. You say it happens when events have the same ID, and it happens on other maps. I have a hard time understanding how a scrpit could cause this unless your doing something to trigger the script to pull a self switch on your events.

All in all I kind feel its a Common Event Problem. But again I don't know what all you've done.

Self-switches in common events relate to the current map as wells as which map event called it (if any)
I have written a tutorial on the matter if you want more information.
