Ok I was playing around with FL Studio and I made the Final Fantasy IX main menu song. It was alright. And then I though, I'm gonna add a dance beat just for fun... and I ended up making a... well, check it out for yourself and you'll see. If you don't know the song you can check it on youtube first and then listen to my...uh.... version. it's called "The Placed I'll Return To Someday". You can use it for your game, with credits to me, if you want it, unless it's illegal cuz I didn't create the song, I don't know... But I made it just for fun, not for a game, and though it would be worth posting here where everybody has played RPGs. Hope you enjoy it!

u sure are a great talker man. its a shame u arent that much of a reader... my explanation was simply this: i was playing around with fl studio, and i made that song, not for any game, not to make the best song ever, just to see how it became. and i though hey how would it sound with a tecnho beat. from there i though, it's not bad, and put up a few more techno sounds. i though it ended up cool. not even close to the best stuff i have already made, to which all those lilliputans, whatever you wanna call em, said it was amazing, awesome, that kind of adjectives youd never get despite you writing expertise. because i though the result was interesting and sounded minimally good (the best adjective i used for it was "cool", where was i saing its amazing or anything like it). it was just for fun, not a swerious work id expect to win a prize. but to have 47 people, so many fans of final fantasy, and noone saying it was interesting, it surprised me, as i was surprised some time ago to discriminating critics about a good thing i made, not close to being the best, but good. ok, mostly i got the "decent adjective", but as anyone who wanna rise in life, i expect more. dont wanna end up being a moderator, huh? so i just shared this with the other users. i was, in fact, being altruist (hope that's how you say it english...). sorry i pissed you all off. i wasn't trying to make an improved version of the original, neither do i support much the idea of fan games, as i am a person who is creative and doesn't like copies. in fact, this was the first thing of the kind i posted, and it was just for fun. so when you make that circle, be sure to sit in the middle.

I downloaded your song, and it would have been good if the "artist" wasn't a zetta n00b. Art should reflect a person's thoughts, moods, ideals, hopes, dreams...and all this does is show that either it does and you're bipolar, (happy song, angry post) or it doesn't and it's nothing more than a random piece of music that was made for no purpose.
Song = good, you != good.
Art isn't cold and dead, art is alive. It grows, it changes. It clashes with itself. Graffiti and impressionism, sketches and paintings, music and sculpture, even games and TV shows, they are part of our lives. We can't live without it, as it's, in a way, the essence of humans: curiosity and wonder, creativity and ideas. As it changes, we do too.
