Have a few questions, listed inside.

OK, im new to RPG making, and well, I was reading a tut, and it said to autotile something, but I don't know how to autotile a map, I also don't know how to make monsters dissapear after they are fought, but still respawn a set time after words, instead of just sitting there like nothing happened, I don't want to put good items on monsters, and have people find out that they can farm that monster to make lots of gold from the item.

1. Autotiles are the very top tiles in a tileset, you can set them in the tileset database.
2. A. To make them go away until you enter the map again: Battle Process: Blah Blah then below it make an erase event.
B. Put a control self switch A on, below the battle command, then make another event page and make it self switch A.

hmm. I downloaded someone else's game but I can't find my font folder....well ok im gonna try what you said. I really have no Idea what my gmae is gonna be about yet..but I keep myself up night sometimes brainstorming >_> lol. Well im gonna try that, and if I get stuck again, I'll come running back to this thread..

EDIT: Well...Is there a way to make it respawn after a certan amount of time, or like, a certian amount of steps or frames?

To make monsters respawn after a few frames, turn Self-Switch A = ON after the battle, and create a "New Event Page". Check the Conditions to "Self-Switch A is ON", then make the event Parallel Processing and have the commands:
Code:
@>Wait: x frame(s)
@>Control Self-Switch A = Off
