Has ANYONE played the Phone remake of FF Adventure?

The mobile phone remake of Final Fantasy Adventure (Seiken Densetsu: Final Fantasy Gaiden) has been out in Japan for YEARS, but finding information and/or pictures for it is nearly impossible, except on this one website I recently came across.

But the website doesn't have what I'm looking for because they never completed it! (the site, that is)

You see, the final boss of FFA is an awesome guy named Julius. He's got three phases, but only two of them (the first two) have ever actually had concept art. Thanks to them, I KNOW what COLORS they're supposed to be. (The original version was for the Game Boy, and was hence black and white)

But the third phase, which looks like this, has NEVER been seen in color. EXCEPT, of course, in the mobile phone remake.

You see where my dilemma lies. I'm trying to find an image or video of the final boss from the Mobile remake so I can find out what COLOR he is. Any help?

I never played to the end of it so I don't know what the final boss looks like, but i believe Sword of Mana for the gba was a remake of the first mana game (a.k.a. seiken densetsu 1 a.k.a. final fantasy adventure for the gb)

Sword of Mana is BLASPHEMY.

It's hardly a remake. Because Seiken Densetsu branched away from the FF series after the first one, the "remake" removed all traces of FF elements. Airships, Chocobos, Moogles, the Lifestream, etc. Sword of Mana is an insult to FF.

Not to mention, SoM doesn't even include the original final boss, instead using the original's second phase as the new final boss, so I can't even use THAT as reference.

Also, don't call it the "first Mana game". The Japanese name of the game is "Seiken Densetsu: Final Fantasy Gaiden". ONLY Sword of Mana can rightfully be called a Mana game.

EDIT: I should also apologize if it sounded like I was lashing out at you. I'm just very defensive about the Game Boy FFs, as there is a lot of false information spread about them.

Actually, it was never a final fantasy game. It simply came out during a period of time where everything square did had the ff name attached to it so it would sell more. Just look at the original SaGa games (or Final Fantasy Legends as they are known in the states.)

OK, I've just done some research, and it looks like you are partially correct. FFA was originally a Final Fantasy spin-off, but went on to spawn the mana series. Simply because something is a spin-off doesn't mean it counts as part of the original series (look at JAG and NCIS). FFA may have slightly more of a connection to Final Fantasy than Vagrant Story, but it has far less of a connection than FF Tactics or even Kingdom Hearts.

Sword of Mana is an enhanced remake of FFA. That means they updated graphics, sound, gameplay, and yes even changed a few things like getting rod of the chocobos in favor of cannon-travel (a staple of the mana series), but there are still moogles and airships. I don't think FFA could have mentioned the Lifestream as that was specific to FF7, however I think you are referencing what probably became the Mana Tree.

As far as lashing out at me, I don't mind that much (i get defensive about things like this as well, most especially when people try to label the zelda games as action-rpgs even though they are clearly action-adventure games), but all you really needed to say was that Sword of Mana had a different final boss.

great desuka-senpai please show me the way

also it IS the first mana game, mana is just slang for the SD, dont have to be so technical. its not like people walk around reffering to it as that. HEY BRO DID YOU PLAY SIEKEN DENESETSYU? YEAH DOG GOOD SHIT ESPECIALLY THEM GRAPHICS BY CHING CHONG WATANABE

and NO, secret of mana was a MANA game, idk why youre refusing to see Sword as a title, yeah it was a shitty remake but its still legit

also, if you were referring to Game boy as in first generation gameboy, there were no FF's on that console. Just manas and SaGas. SD is a spin off, but its not final fantasy
